Hello Everyone ~ the Touches of Texture Flowers creation today is the perfect All Occasion card.
Well I have a chair I am thinking about. It is a 1 1/2 leather recliner. It is gray so neutral. It was on sale but I think that was because it was the floor model. I need to take the flooring back in and see how it looks with it. I am worried with gray walls it will be too much gray. The advantage is I can use any color accessories with it so I can change the colors as I want when I get tired of it. I need to look it over very carefully since it was the floor model. It is guaranteed so that is an advantage. So what do you think? The trim will be white but do you think it will be too much gray? I also took all the boxes out of the second bed room and reorganized them. I have all the boxes I am storing around the edges and the center is open. I now have a ton of craft room boxes and totes I need to unload and figure out how to make my craft area work. I will start on that task today!
Touches of Texture was the next stamp set on my Catalog Journey. I decided to use the cute flower in the stamp set and make a card. I stamped the flowers in Blackberry Bliss, Highland Heather, and Mango Medley. I had to fussy cut the flowers as there are no framelits to match this set. I tried a few of the scallop circle punches but not of them worked. I also stamped the lacy strip down the left hand side of a Whisper White panel. A bow using the 1/4″ Copper Trim was added at the top of the panel which was then added to a Blackberry Bliss card base. The flowers needed some leaves so I used Granny Apple Green and the small leaf from Bunch of Blossoms to make a bunch. I added the leaves to the back of the flowers using glue dots. The flowers were added to the card base using glue dots and dimensionals. To finish the card I added some Granny Apple Green glitter enamel dots. Here is the completed Touches of Texture Flowers creation.
