Tranquil Tulips 2 Step Stamping

Hello Stampers ~ Are you ready for another Tranquil Tulips 2 Step Stamping idea?

Today we are heading home.  We had a great few days and enjoyed our time at the beach.  The girls are like 2 fish.  They love the water and enjoyed jumping the waves.   Jess didn’t get much relaxing time at the beach as Remi always wanted to be in the water with her big sister so she had to watch her constantly as she tried to go out deeper with her sister.  I am sure they will both sleep a lot on the drive home.  We have about 8 hours ahead of us with no stops but you know you have to stop and give kids a chance to run!

We have a new challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  This one is a sketch challenge.

For this one I thought I would use the Tranquil Tulips in the circle.  I began by cutting out the large circle from the dies and then stamped the tulips in 3 colors – Crushed Curry, Rich Razzleberry, and Perfect Plum.  I then added my stems and leaves using Old Olive.  The scallop layer is the large scallop from the Layering Circles dies and is cut out of Rich Razzleberry.  The Pick a Pattern dsp was used for my flag strips.  The sentiment came from Thoughtful Banners and was stamped in Rich Razzleberry.  The sentiment was mounted onto a piece of Crushed Curry card stock.  Here is the completed creation.
