Tres Jolie Sweet Valentine card ideas

Hello everyone – this month I got to play with the card kit and created these Tres Jolie Sweet Valentine card ideas.

This month the kit was all about pink and red. It had some cute animal pairs and flowers mixed with geometric patterns.

Today’s Project

My first project using this kit was a collection of 3 cards. Using a variety of elements makes it easy to create coordinating cards.

I created 3 different cards using this kit. The kit had beautiful pattern paper and embossed die cuts making it easy to design with.

The kit comes with doilies and you can also get some wooden hearts as Kim also has chipboard in her shop. All you need to do is cover it with gesso and then paint it with acrylic paint.

About the cards

Card 1
card base – Rococo Rose 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side
white layer – 4″ x 5 1/4″
pink hearts pattern paper – 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″

Card 2
card base – Pretty in Pink 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side
white layer – 4″ x 5 1/4″ 

Card 3
card base – Real Red 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ on the long side
white layer – 4″ x 5 1/4″ 
white – scrap for die cutting
white shimmer paper – scrap for die cutting
