It has been a while since I have played with Carole’ Anne and Sandi’s 10 Minute Challenge. This week there was a sketch challenge
They also had the requirement that you had to use 2 different pieces of designer series paper. Since I have a lot of the paper we got free at convention I decided to use it. My original plan was to use the stamp set Peaceful Season and the sentiment “Season’s Greetings” for the center image. When I pulled out the sentiment, it was too wide to work as I wanted to put it in an oval and back it with Cherry Cobbler so I had to rethink my saying. I decided to use the set Christmas Greeting instead.
Even though the sketch is fairly simple, it still took me 20 minutes. The majority of the time was spent playing with the decorative label punch piecing the pieces together to make a similar one for the layer. It also took me little bit of extra time adding the silver tinsel to the ribbon and tying the knot. Here is what I created.

Hope you have some plans to stamp today. I have to go enter my items in the fair, then go to work, and finally I have class tonight so I will be busy running around. Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!

HI Robbi, Beautiful job on the card and hey, the time is pretty darned good too, and worth it because I love what you did with the punch, the sentiment looks just awesome.
Thanks for playing this week
I have to agree with Sandi. This is a beautiful and pretty clean and simple card. Beauty requires some extra time…and it shows!
