Trying my hand at creating a Chrysanthemum

When I saw the color combination at Late Night Stampers, the first thing came to mind was chrysanthemums. I decided I wanted to give it a try so I pulled out my punches and gave it a try. Make sure you let me know what you think.

I have wanted to participate in the challenges at Late Night Stampers and this week they had a color challenge. We were to use Old Olive, Really Rust, and Ruby Red. The Really Rust and Ruby Red are so close that it is hard to tell I have used both colors. I also added some Chocolate Chip to some contrast. I paired the colors up with the sketch at Stamping 411. Here is the sketch and my creation.

Stampin’ Up Supplies
Stamps: Baroque Motifs Paper: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Really Rust, Ruby Red, Very Vanilla Ink: Old Olive, Really Rust, Ruby Red Accessories: scalloped circle & boho blossoms punches, Really Rust & Ruby Red brads, Sizzlets Little Leaves die
I hope you can tell from the photo the amount of dimension on the flowers. I would really like another die that was in between the scalloped circle and the largest boho blossoms flower. It would make the chrysanthemum fuller. Hope you enjoyed the flowers. Thanks for looking and have a great day!
