Hello Ladies!

Do you have some plans for creating today?  Taking time each day to create is a great way to devote to yourself.  Take a few minutes and work on something for yourself today!

My card today began with the color challenge at Fab Friday

I saw this sketch on Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenge blog

and I wasn’t sure how to approach it.  The color challenge helped me out.  Here is what I created.

inside of card and envelope

I used the pattern on the designer series paper to create the hexagon elements.  I just cut between the outlines.  I also discovered that if you use the Basic Gray marker to outline an image that the color comes out green.  I hope you enjoyed my card today.  Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!

  1. I would have been totally lost with this color challenge, but you did a very nice job with it….I like your layout and the way you used the colors. TFS!

  2. Perfect! I really like the color combination and the way you used the DSP. Thanks for playing along with the Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenge.

  3. Neat way to use the DSP for your design. 🙂 I never would have used these colors together until I did a challenge a few weeks ago using them. I actually really like the color combo now and you used them perfectly on this card! Thanks for playing with the Red Hot Stampers!
