Happy Monday Everyone ~ I played with a new set and new designer series paper with my Under My Umbrella Best Dressed creation.
I am headed to Maryland today. My sister is not doing well and I need to get up there. I am hoping traffic is not bad and that it will be an easy ride. Be thinking of me today as I make the 6 hour drive.
I played with a new set and new designer series paper for today’s creations. I saw this sketch on CAS Colours & Sketches and knew I wanted to use it for this card.
I needed a small image for the strip of stars across the top so I found them in the Under My Umbrella stamp set. I stamped them in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and used Highland Heather, Pear Pizzazz, and Petal Pink markers to color them in. I then fussy cut them out. I used the pink dot paper from the Best Dressed designer series paper and cut it at 3 3/4″ x 3″. I added it to the bottom of a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel of Whisper White. This panel was added to a Petal Pink card base. The flowers were then added across the top of the designer series paper using glue dots. To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings using Highland Heather in the upper right hand corner. Here is the completed Under My Umbrella Best Dressed creation.

The Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set has some great sentiments. This one is an All Occasion idea with a fun cut out. This feminine card uses the same sentiment as today’s card. This fun tropical card uses one of the other sentiments in the set.
