Unity Advent Calendar – Day 1 mini tree

Hello everyone – today begins my sharing of the Advent calendar I purchased so check out the Unity Advent Calendar – Day 1 mini tree!
I wanted to do an Advent calendar this year so I searched around and chose the one from Unity Stamp Co. They carry mostly red rubber stamps so I figured theirs would have stamps in them.
Today’s Project
Today is the first day so I have an unboxing and then I used the first stamp to make a card. The image was a small pine tree. I pulled from my stash to find different elements to make my card. I used a new snowflake border die, a tag from a collection, and a sentiment from the same collection. I had fun challenging myself and here is the first card.

That snowflake border die is very intricate but I have to say it cut out very easily. I didn’t have too much trouble popping out the pieces. I used a sponge to add glue to the back as I wanted to make sure all the edges were stuck down. The tag makes a great background for the tree which I colored using markers.

I have several stamps from Unity Stamp Co. One of my favorite images is the cute highland cow I used on this card. They had this adorable Charlie Brown Christmas tree image that I had to have.
