Unity Advent Calendar – Day 8 flower
Hello everyone – a cute image was behind the door and it was used to create the Unity Advent Calendar – Day 8 flower creation.
When I saw the image I knew immediately which paper I had that would go with it perfectly. I pulled it out and started cutting!
Today’s Project
The cute little flower was a great match for the daisy paper I had. I chose 3 different patterns to use on the card. To use the same color as the paper I colored the image with a blue, yellow, and green marker that matched the colors in the pattern paper.
After the flower was stamped I punched it out with a 1 1/4″ circle punch. I punched a layering circle with a 1 1/2″ circle punch using the same cardstock as the background for the flowers. I love the strip of denim pattern paper for some interest. To finish it off some gold gems were added.

Have you seen some of the other cards made with other images from the calendar? This one is a great masculine idea from Day 3. This one is perfect for this time of year with all the places getting snow.

scrap for stamping and punching
blue cardstock – 2 1/2″ x 3 1/4″
scrap for punching
pattern paper – yellow glitter – 4″ x 5 1/4″
daisy pattern – 2 5/16″ x 3 1/16″
denim pattern – 1″ x 4″
