Updating card ideas with new products

Hello everyone – I have a new series starting today with Updating card ideas with new products.

Last month Vicky and I collaborated with sharing birthday cards on our Facebook pages. This month we decided to do something a little different. We are taking a card we posted on our blog 1 year ago (or close to the date) and updating it with new current products. Make sure you hop over to her blog – Vicky Wright – to see what she created.

Last year I used the stencils and Sending Smiles to create this card.

I went looking at my stencils and found a different one to use for today’s card. For the die cut flower I went looking at my dies and found some in the Meadow dies. I opted to use watercolor paper and watercolor the dies for this card. I also chose to use gold ink to sponge my background. Check out my updated version of last year’s card.

Here is the same die in different color and has a different look. Here is a card that uses several of the dies for a pretty simple card.
