Hello Stampers ~ I did it again with my Using the Buffalo Check Background to Add Texture to Your Flowers.
Merry Christmas!
I hope you are having a great day and taking time to relax and enjoy the holiday season! I am headed next door to Barb’s to have dinner with her and Doug. Keeping it close to home with the pandemic getting more dangerous.
I am continuing with using my background stamps to add texture and interest to my die cut flowers. This time I used the Buffalo Check background stamp. This is one of my favorite background stamps as it adds so much interest to your cards. I decided to try it with the poppies.
For this one I used the solid die cut after I have stamped the paper. Since it is an outline of the flower you really need to add the overlay so you can see it is a flower. I love the subtle interest the Buffalo Check stamp gives the flowers, just enough to draw the eye to look at them.
The leaves were also completed using the same technique. They are more pronounced as I don’t often use that pad. Check out this video showing how I made the Using the Buffalo Check Background to Add Texture to Your Flowers.
