Vellum Flower

Hello Stampers!

Well yesterday I was much better.  I am still limited with my bending over but have adjusted how I bend over and pick things up.  I went back to the chiropractor and will be seeing him again next week.  I have more issues if I sit too long so I try not to sit too much.  Not a problem for me as I don’t seem to sit much anyway and I stand when I craft.  I am hoping that by next week it will be fine.

2 days ago I shared a colored vellum image I did.  I had to change my post for our blog hop so today I am sharing the card I made using that image.  To refresh your memory, here is the image.

I wanted to make the image the focal point of the card so I decided to mount it on white so it would show up.  I them used a Melon Mambo layer on my white card base.  I added a ribbon and my card was done.  Simple but so pretty.  Here is my finished creation.

So for my coloring today for the 30 Day Coloring Challenge I wanted to see if I inked up an embossing folder and then pressed on it if the ink would transfer.

I chose to use my large polka dot embossing folder.  I inked it up with Memento  Tuxedo Black.

When I put my paper inside and ran the brayer over it, all that happened was an outline of the dot.  I decided to then take my marker and color inside the circle.  Here is what my final piece ended up looking like.

Make sure you come back tomorrow to see what I did with this piece.

Thanks for visiting me today.  What will you play with today?  Take some time to be creative!  Have a Great Day!

Robbie
