Verve’s August Project Parade

Verve is having a contest that runs until September 3rd. The inspiration was an ad from a coffee shop. The ad looked so yummy and the colors were perfect for me. I had a fun time creating this card using an image I got in an image swap.

When I looked at the image the first thing that popped into my head was a line from a Beetle’s song “I get by with a little help from my friends” so I went with it. I stamped “I get by” on the outside and used my computer to generate “with a little help from my friends” for the inside. I really like the way it turned out. Here is the inspiration piece and my card. I am not sure if you were supposed to create a project rather than a card but I did the card.

Stamps: House Mouse (could not find the name on the website) Paper: Close to Cocoa, Pretty in Pink, white, DCWV Spring Stack PP (last year) Ink: Close to Cocoa Accessories: ribbon (Pink Hedgehog), Word Window punch, dimensionals, sticky tape

So what do you think? Might need to add some bling!

I will participating in Splitcoast’s Virtual Stamping Night for the fun of it. I will post my creations on the blog for you to see later this weekend! Thanks for looking and have a great day!
