Hello Everyone ~ are you ready for some washi tape pineapples today?
I finished my samples for the Color Theory class yesterday. I will be photographing them and sending out my announcement. I also cut for my Collage class that is later today. It was a busy day but I got a lot accomplished. Today I am hoping to work on some tasks I have to get accomplished before my next coaching call next week. Wish me luck that I get some of it accomplished.
Today is our Global Stampers monthly blog hop. We are actually revising the hop and making it a true hop. You should have arrived here from Fiona’s blog.
This month our theme is Flowers or Fruit. I knew I wanted to do something other than flowers so I checked out my sets and found the pineapples in Pop of Paradise. I thought I would use the pineapples to create a Washi Tape Pineapples card. I inked them up using a Daffodil Delight and Garden Green marker. I stamped 3 of them and then cut them out. Now it was time to start adding my washi tape. I added the wider Garden Green checked pattern first. I did the horizontal strip then the vertical strip. Then I repeated the same procedure using the black skinny washi. The third strip to add was the green flower. I finished it up with the yellow striped. The Whisper White layer was then added to a Garden Green card base. I added my pineapples using dimensionals. Here is my completed creation and it is a quick and easy card!

We hope you enjoyed our new format. Make sure you let everyone know how much you enjoyed their projects.
Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. What plans do you have for today? I am excited to work with my ladies today as they make their August collages. Have a Sensational Sunday and would you C.A.S.E. my Washi Tape Pineapples?
The pineapples are too cute! I love what you did with the Washi Tape too 🙂
I love ananas. They coordinate perfectly with these washi tapes
The washi tape provides a wonderful frame for this card. I would never have thought to do that – and how cute are those pineapples.
How cute!
