Watercolored Meadow dies from Stampin’ Up
Hello Everyone – for my coloring idea today I chose to do a Watercolored Meadow dies from Stampin’ Up creation.
Vicky and I have enjoyed showing you different ways to color you images. Today I am showing a way you can color your die cuts. You can use the same technique with your stamps but you would have to emboss your image so the ink used to stamp the image does not bleed into the image. I love the collection of dies in this group. They are so fun to do a variety of different techniques for you card. Check out all the wildflower dies you get in this set. If you just have to have these dies, click on the image and add it to your cart.
I made a video to show you how to color your dies. Watch it below and then pull out your dies and create your version of this card.
I love the embossed edge on this card. It adds another texture.
The black & white ribbon sets off the embossed edge. A great way to highlight the 2 sides of the card front.
Those dies can also be colored using blending brushes. Here is one of the dies colored with the brushes. The simple dies can also be used as silhouettes like on this fun card.
I had so much fun watercoloring these dies. I have some others that I did not use on this card so be looking for them in the future.
