Happy Monday Everyone ~ a fun Watercolored Sunshine Wishes creation will be shared with you today.
I have some errands to run today and then I need to work in my craft room. I need to get things organized and put away so I can put my table away. I also want to work on the girl’s autograph books. I would like to get those finished early in the week. I also have a mattress being delivered so I can set up the bed for Jess. Some time this week I want to get over to the storage unit and find my bin of towels. I think I need to start a list of what I need to do so I don’t forget anything.
I did some playing with watercolor and then used the pieces to make some cards. For my card today I took the long skinny block and scribbled on Daffodil Delight, Mango Medley and Pumpkin Pie. I spritzed the watercolor paper and then I spritzed the block. I flipped the block over onto the watercolor paper and let it sit there and soak into the paper. I removed the block and set the watercolor paper aside to dry. I took a piece of Mango Medley card stock for my card base. Using the Polka Dot basics embossing folder I embossed the card front. I stamped the flower using the Sunshine Sayings stamp set using Mango Medley and Granny Apple Green. I used the coordinating thinlits to cut out the stem. The flower was fussy cut as was the leaves. I also cut out some of the butterflies using the Mango Medley card stock. To put my card together, I used the Basic Black Stampin’ Write marker and a ruler to draw lines around the edge of the inked shape. This panel was added to the left hand side of the card base using Tear & Tape. The flower was added to the card front using dimensionals. I added the butterflies using glue dots. To finish off the card, I added some rhinestones to the center of the flower and the butterflies. Here is the completed Watercolored Sunshine Wishes creation.
