Well today has been one of those days. I blinked and the day is gone. I had so much to do and I am still not done. I still need to make a birthday card, stamp some images I borrowed, and make 2 ATC cards. I guess I need to quite the chit-chat and get on with it.
You know I love doing
Julee’s sketch each week. Well she has another great layout. I decided to combine it with a contest they are having on
Splitcoast in the
Verve forum. I also needed one more July 4th card so the contest was perfect since you only had to have 1 star on your card somewhere. I used lots of stars as it is not the 4th without lots of fireworks and stars. So here is the sketch and my card. You can’t see it but I traced the fireworks on the background paper with the Spica clear glitter pen.
Stamps: Seeing Stars (Verve), Independence Day Paper: Brocade Blue, Gold Metallic, Real Red, white, DCWV Big Stack (had for several years) Ink: Brocade Blue, Real Red Accessories: Photo Corner – Large Star – Round Tab Punch, gold brads, ribbon (Michael’s), Spica clear glitter pen, sponge, dimensionals, sticky tape
So what do you think? Not a bad card and it was fun to make. Thanks for looking and have a great evening!
Super Super card for the challenge – you really used all the elements together very well!! Love it!!
What a fun card! Thanks for playing! :0
