Weekend Sketch Challenge – Sunshine

Good Morning Everyone!

Well I did not get out in the yard yesterday.  Jess’ appointment was at 12 and when she got back I needed to make my cards for the retirement village ladies.  When I got those finished, I had an appointment at 5 and there was not enough time so I started working on a class for next month.  I will see what the weather is today and maybe I can get out there if it does not rain.

I am a member of a Facebook group that has a weekend sketch challenge.  I have played along a couple of times since I joined and this weekend was no exception.

When I saw this I thought of the idea of adding some flowers across the bottom of the back panel and a sun in the upper corner.  The horizontal panel then needed a sentiment so I used my Hello You thinlets to cut out a word and added a stamped word underneath to finish it off.  Here is my creation.

Isn’t this card so fun?  I loved how it turned out, and it was so easy to create.  Here are the supplies I used to create it.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you have some fun plans for today.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

  1. Love this card! Your sun shining down on the flowers says Spring in a beautiful way. TFS.
