A New Ribbon Treatment

Well it is the middle of the week and things have been hectic at my house.  How about at your house?
Today’s card uses the color challenge from Creative Sketches.  You were to use Always Artichoke, Marina Mist, and Soft Suede.

I combined it with the sketch challenge from The Paper Players

I did flip the sketch so I could make it work for me.  I chose to use Just Believe and used markers to color it.  I then matted it.  I have a ton of paper from the Deck the Halls designer series paper that I had to buy for my Christmas stamp-a-stack.  I thought it would be great if I could use it for non Christmas cards.  I chose 2 papers that did not appear to be Christmas.  Once I had all my layers decided it still needed something, so I tried a different ribbon technique.  What do you think of my ribbon technique?

I hope you liked today’s card and my ribbon technique.  Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  1. I love the card. Everything just goes so nicely together. And I love the ribbon technique which was perfect addition to the card. I just love that stamp set. I may have to break down and buy that since I see it on lots of cards.
