Good Morning Stampers ~ My Whole Lot of Lovely Hello card is so pretty!
Yesterday we spent most of the day at Ikea. Jess picked up quite a bit of supplies she needed for the house and then dropped it off at the townhouse. Her plan is to move the week between Christmas and New Year’s. She has to contact a moving company and see what she can schedule though.
It is supposed to be warm up a little on Monday and Tuesday. I am going to try and get outside and cut down my butterfly bushes as I am having a home energy audit on Thursday and I would like that area cleaned up. Wish me luck as it is just me and my chain saw!
I was attracted to the sketch at Paper Craft Crew Challenges I knew it would be fun to play with.
I began by choosing my dsp. I was looking through my paper and pulled out Whole Lot of Lovely. There are 2 papers in the pack that I love. They both have a black background. I opted to pair them for this sketch. The colors listed are Tangerine Tango but I also saw a lighter peach so I opted to use Peekaboo Peach. I created a side fold card base for a change from my usual top fold. I used the piece of dsp that had the vine stripes on it. This became my vertical piece down the left side. Before I attached it to my card base, I took a piece of retired Peekaboo Peach ruched ribbon and wrapped it around the top. Then I took the other black background piece and cut a panel and added it to the card base. Using the star shaped framelit from the bundle and some Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper, I cut out the shape. My sentiment from the stamp set was stamped on a scrap of Peekaboo Peach and punched out with the 1″ circle punch. This was added to the center of the Dazzling Diamonds shape using glue dots. The sentiment was then added to the upper left hand corner using dimensionals. Here is my Whole Lot of Lovely Hello creation.
