Hello Ladies ~ I used another designer series paper that I have not played with much in my Whole Lot of Lovely Watercolor Wings creation.
Well I am leaving today for my trip to New Bern. I am excited about it as I really need a break. I finally finished everything up the other day. I had some bins to put in the closet and clean up my craft room but I was able to get it all done. Now all I have to do is keep it organized so I don’t have to scramble when someone wants to see the house. When I get the phone call I have to go around and turn on the lights (not sure why since my house is so bright any way) and grab Bijou. We have to be gone for about an hour so I will be visiting my sister and Jess. There are soccer fields across from my house so I can go over there. It will be interesting.
Today I have a fun card. I began with a piece of the Whole Lot of Lovely designer series paper. This panel was added to my Whisper White card base. I then took another piece of Whisper White and cut a small panel for the front of my card. Next I took a piece of Pool Party card stock that was 1″ wide and scored it at 1/4″, 1/2″, and 3/4″. This was attached to the bottom of the small panel using Tear & Tape. A strip of the Pool Party glitter ribbon was added to the top of the scored piece. This panel was added to the center of the card front using dimensionals. To make my butterfly, I took the colors from the dsp. I used Crushed Curry that was off stamped for the solid image. Then I used Dapper Denim for the outline and off stamped it before stamping it to the outside of the butterfly. Using the center stamp for the butterfly I inked it with Pool Party and stamped it on the butterfly. The body was stamped using Soft Suede. The coordinating framelits were used to cut out the butterfly and it was then added to the small panel using dimensionals. To finish off the card the Tutti-Frutti sequins were added for some interest. Here is the completed Whole Lot of Lovely Watercolor Wings creation.
