Winter Meadow Merry Christmas
Hello Everyone – for our Inspirations in Ink blog hop this month I created this quick and easy Winter Meadow Merry Christmas card idea.
Welcome to the monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop. This month we are playing with the Winter Meadow suite. Thanks for joining us. I hope you enjoy my project.
You may be starting here – Creations in Paper – or have come from another blog – either way you can find the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.
With Christmas right around the corner we may be in crunch time for getting any more cards made that we need to send out. With that in mind I decided to come up with a quick and easy Christmas card that you could mass produce and finish your cards up. If you have nature lovers on your list this dsp is a great one to use for them.
Have you seen this paper? There are some beautiful hand-painted patterns that are fun to create with. The back side has coordinating watercolor patterns that you can mix and match with the pattern side. I fell in love with a few of these patterns and can honestly say I have used them all up! Which pattern would you use first?
To continue with the rustic nature theme of the paper I tore the edge of my papers. This is a great technique for adding texture to your cards.
Since the scene looks like a pine forrest in a snowstorm I thought the card could use some bling. I added a silver bow from the Online Exclusives Gold & Silver trim combo pack. Add just the right amount of sparkle.
I have used this paper to create a card box for my #giftgiverscardset series. Here is where you can find the completed box that uses one of my favorite papers in the collection. The deer pattern is one I was not fond of but I did use it for the World Card Making Group Challenge 3.
