Good Morning Everyone!
Well yesterday was a total wash! I did not get into my craft room at all. I had appointments in the morning and then in the afternoon Jess and I went to my sister’s to sort through the items we had for Christmas for the girls. We had to determine what Santa was bringing, what we were giving, and what we could put away for Birthday’s (yes we had that much). We got it done and now we are hoping to be able to wrap some gifts today as both girls will be gone.
Today I made another birthday card for a request I had. I began with the sketch challenge at Pals Paper Arts challenge
This was a simple sketch so I had to think of a way to step up the card. I decided that the background needed to be embossed. I pulled out the Woodland embossing folder as I wanted a masculine card. After I embossed it I had to address the horizontal lines. I pulled out my Go Wild ds paper stack and found a pattern I thought looked like hoof prints. I cut 2 narrow strips and attached them across the bottom. All I needed then was my sentiment. Here is my creation based on this sketch.
