Work of Art Watercolor

Happy Monday Stampers!

I hope all of you had a great weekend!  It was hot here and a perfect day to spend in your craft room being creative.  I did spend some time in there this weekend but did not get done what I had hoped to.  I will be busy in there this week so I can get some things completed.

Today is the sketch challenge at Mary Jo’s Technostamper.  Here is our sketch for this week.

In keeping with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge I wanted to do some coloring.  I wondered how I was going to get some coloring into this sketch.  Then it occurred to me I could color the back panel.  I pulled out my ink pads and sponges and colored the watercolor paper.  Here is what the paper looked like.

While this looked okay I really wanted to see how the would blend if I spritzed them with water.  I grabbed the spray bottle and spritzed the paper.  Here is what it looked like when it dried.

I then used the sketch and the above panel to make my creation below.

We would love to see what you would create using the sketch.  Grab your supplies and create something.  Then share it with us on Mary Jo’s blog – Technostamper.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you have some fun plans for today and have some time to be creative.  Have a Marvelous Monday!

Robbie
