Second post, scroll down for first!
I need to make my St. Patrick’s Day cards as I need to mail some out at the end of this week. I used some of the challenges to make some of my cards. I am going to share one of them with you today.
Limelight Papercrafts has a sketch challenge this week. Another added piece to the sketch was to use ric rac. Since I have quite a bit of this and haven’t used it in a while I decided to give it a try. The card came together rather quickly and I like the simplicity of it. I used a paint chip to back my sentiment. I think it is rather cool as it is a bronze color and reminded me of the pot of gold with the coins. What do you think? I also used a mixture of clear and Rainbow Razzle embossing powders to emboss the sentiment. It is hard to tell from the picture but it has some sparkle to it. Here is the sketch and my creation.
inside of card
Stamps: Itty Bitty Buds (hostess), All Year Cheer III (retired), Shamrock (Hero Arts) Paper: Old Olive, white, Delicate Dots DS (SAB), paint chip Ink: Old Olive, Versamark Accessories: ric rac ( Jody’s online share), shamrock punch (Martha Stewart), clear & Rainbow Razzle embossing powders, sponge dauber, sticky tape, dimensionals
Hope you have some great plans for the rest of the day! Thanks for looking and enjoy your Sunday!
