Hello Stampers ~ Spring weather is almost here and to celebrate I created a You’re Inspiring Daffodils from Stampin’ Up card today.
Today is Zoie’s birthday. It is hard to believe that the little girl in the picture below is 7 today! Where did the time go?
She is spending the day with her mom and tonight we are going to dinner at Outback then back to Jess’ for cake and presents. In February Jess and I talked about gifts for the girls when it was Remi’s birthday. I gave Remi a year pass to a local museum that has a great program for kids. Zoie loves Science and Jess had asked for some Science kits at Christmas from someone else. She did not get it so the 2 of us checked out the different monthly kits and decided on one. Her first kit had her make a homemade arcade game and the one she just got this week was all about spy things. She is loving them. I think that was money well spent. She has another month left and then we will talk about whether she wants to continue or not. My guess is she will love it. I will try and get pictures of her with her kits so I can share them with you.
Today is my Fast and Fabulous video series. This one was inspired by a sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches
I was wondering what I was going to do for the video when I saw this and an idea came to me. Check out how I address the teal horizontal strip in my video for my You’re Inspiring Daffodils from Stampin’ Up card.
Did you like how I addressed the horizontal strip? This is a great way to use dsp that you are not fond of or has a lot of colors and is a very busy pattern. Here is the card so you can see all the elements better.
