Zig Zag mini pocket folder card
Hello Everyone – I went out on a limb and created today’s Zigzag mini pocket folder card for today.
I have a You Tuber I watch as I love her fun ephemera and small holder ideas. She created a zigzag mini pocket folder and shared how she made it. I decided to use her idea to make the folder into a card.
I made the card in my Facebook Live on Saturday. You can see the replay here. I made this idea for Remi and the ephemera in the pockets were geared to her likes.
I chose to use a piece of the Stargazing dsp/pattern paper to make my pocket. I love this paper but since I don’t have the space stamp set I will be looking for other ways to use it. If you see a paper you like, think outside the box in how you can use it.
The first picture I posted the folder closed so you can see the zigzags. The folder has the front flap free so it opens. Here is the photo of it open and you can see the pocket and then I took out the ephemera and took another photo which is also posted.
These photos show the ephemera in the second and third pocket. It banner was one the You Tuber made also and I loved the idea. The tag was based on the idea she also used for her pocket.
In order to have a space to write a message I added a panel on the back and since Remi is into soccer I added the soccer ball to the panel and the envelope.
I mentioned earlier that I had to think outside the box when using the Stargazing dsp/pattern paper. I used one of the patterns for water on this card candy card. This card has pockets and I have made pocket cards in the past. Check out this idea that also has lots of pockets and was inspired by a scrapbook you tuber.
I hope today’s Zigzag mini pocket folder card has inspired you to try something new. Think outside the box like I did for this one as it wasn’t a card but I made it a card by adding a panel.
