Good Morning Stampers!
Well I am enjoying my stay with Michaela. She had to work today so I was on my own. I spent a relaxing day catching up on my e-mail and blogs and even took a nap in the afternoon. I really needed the nap.
My card today uses our challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments. We were to create a fancy fold card.
I recently saw on a friend’s blog a great card that fit this challenge. She saw in on a blog hop. She shared the directions and that was all I needed. The card is a Multi-Fold Card with a Pocket. Here is my creation.
card closed
card with first flaps open
card with next flaps pen revealing the pocket
card with pocket removed
I loved making this. I used some of the Paisley Petals ds paper to decorate my card. Hope you liked it.
Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
Robbie
Wow, Robbie! This is an awesome design! Love all of the folds and have to try to track down the directions for this style of card. Hope you are having a great day! 🙂
Robbie,
I love that this card looks like you can decorate it like a scrapbook page. It's so versatile and the panels are perfect for photos or greetings. Thanks for doing this type of card and for the inspiration to use more dsp. I tend to hoard it.
OK so this card reminds me of those dolls that you open one and there is another smaller on inside, then you open that one and there's another, and so on and so on… I know there is a name for those things and that is what this card should be called the never ending dolls. As soon as you open it you see that there is a new fold/pocket… this card would have my attention ALL day!
This is such a cool card! I agree with Genny, I immediately thought of a scrapbook/brag book. This is perfect for that. Love the subtle Paisley Petals DSP too. Gorgeous!
Very nice, Robbie!
Wow!! What a fun card to make and so versatile!! Great idea!! I must know how to make this card too!! Amy L.
As I was looking at all of the parts of this card….a baby announcement or wedding invitation came to mind. Add the info and some photos. WHat a great idea. Love the color combo, too.
LOve this fold – am doing a fancy folds class in September and would LOVE the instructions if you can point me to them!! TIA
