Spooky Fun

Hello Ladies ~ Are you ready for some Spooky Fun?

I got a few cards finished yesterday including my card for today.  I had some running around to do and then I had a lady come over to finish up 2 classes she was behind on.  Today I am going to cut paper and make the goodie bag and a little treat for our ladies who are coming to Bingo tomorrow evening.  I also need to make my Bags & Tags sample as I have ladies in the morning coming to make the project.  Another busy day!

I knew I was limited time wise yesterday so I sent looking for a sketch for my card today.  I have not played with Paper Craft Crew challenges and when I saw their sketch I knew exactly what I was going to do.

I knew I wanted to use some of the new Halloween washi tape for the horizontal strips.  I also knew I wanted to use the moon and witch for the elements in the upper left hand corner.  I added my washi tape and stamped my moon.  I punched it out with the 1 3/8″ circle punch.  I then used the framelit to cut out my witch.  I layered them with dimensionals at the top.  Now I needed to do the lower right hand corner.  I chose my colors first based on the colors in the washi tape.  I stamped my sentiment and had them ready to go.  I took some of the black metallic thread and created a loopy element.  I taped it down to my card and then added my strips.  To finish off my card I added 3 black sequins. My card was complete.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you are planning for a fun weekend!  Have a Great Day and what Spooky Fun would you create?

  1. Hi Robbie, I like your take on our sketch this week! You and I even used the exact same moon and witch in the top corner, but your moon looks spookier in yellow than mine does in vanilla! Thanks for joining us at the Paper Craft Crew this week! xo Crystal

  2. This is adorable Robbie. Love how you finished off the inside too! Thank you so very much for joining us at the Paper Craft Crew this week and hope to see you again next week too!

  3. Hi, Robbie. I'm so glad you found us at the Paper Craft Crew. What a treat to see your card! The inside is so stinking cute, too!! I also really like your use of washi tape. Sometimes I'm better at collecting it then using it…I also live in Maryland, but more towards DC. Hope you join us again! – Rina
