Sketch Saturday

Children are wonderful! You raise them to be independent adults and when they are gone and living on your own you develop your own routine and patterns for doing things. Life is going well. Then all of a suddon “boing”. They call you up and you have to drop everything you are doing and rearrange your schedule to help them deal with their crisis. I guess motherhood never ends, even when they are grown and gone.

I have had one of those weeks. Both of my girls have had a crisis that I needed to help them with. Add to that my job and responsibilities and I have been a busy lady. But the weekend is here and I am hoping to catch up on my sleep.

I saw this sketch on a blogI was looking at and thought it would be a fun one to do.

Here is the card I made. Let me know what you think.

Stamps: Wanted, Seeing Spots Paper: Mellow Moss, Brocade Blue, Pretty In Pink, So Saffron, Rosey Bias Plaid from Scrapbook Walls by Chatter Box Ink: Mellow Moss, Brocade Blue, Pretty In Pink, So Saffron Accessories: Scallop punch, Circle punches, Mellow Moss-Pretty in Pink-Brocade Blue-So Saffron brads, dimensionals, sponges, red sticky tape

Thanks for looking! Have a great weekend!
