As you know the current In Colors will retire in August. While I am excited to get some new colors I will miss several of the current colors. I really like the blues, Purely Pomegranate, and Wild Wasabi. Hate to see them go. I’m not sure about the new red and new green. Will know more when I get my preorder on Wednesday.
Candice (who has been missing in action since the beginning of June – love you Candice 🙂 – has had so much going on in her life this summer) and I decided we would use the In Colors in our color challenges the last few weeks as a fond farewell. Last week I used Groovy Guava, Blue Bayou, and Wild Wasabi. I had wanted to use the final 3 colors this week but I could not get Soft Sky worked into this card. I may use it later this week for some other cards.
I chose to use Purely Pomegranate and River Rock. I have always admired Faith’s creations on her blog. There is something about them that just seems to grab me. I decided to try and create a card using her style. Here is what I came up with.
