Over on the Our Creative Corner blog they posted an inspiration challenge for this week. We were to use this picture to create something.
When I saw this picture I immediately thought of Christmas trees (don’t ask me where that came from). So I went looking and found some small trees from an old Stampin’ Up set of 12 images. I also had this patterned paper I had just used on another card but wanted to use a vintage look so I took my Creamy Caramel and sponged it on the patterned paper and my stamped images. I like how it toned down the white but I know I need to work with this more. All in all I like my card.
Stamps: Bitty Bolds, Lots of Thoughts, Polka Dots & Paisley Paper: Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgundy, white, patterned paper is from an old autumn collection from Close to my Heart Ink: Always Artichoke, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White Craft Accessories: ribbon (Pink Hedgehog), sponge, crystal effects, sticky tape, dimensionals
Hope your Thursday has some time to stamp in it. Have a great day and thanks for looking!
