Cute Punched Santa

My sister bought a card magazine (Paper Creations Magazine, Winter 2009) and as I was looking at it I saw a cute Santa card made using punches. I thought it would be so cute on a card so I modified it and created this card for my workshop this week. I used the sketch from Our Creative Corner and modified it a little. I love how it turned out.

After I punched the face, I used a sponge dauber to add some Pretty in Pink ink to his rosy cheeks. I then cut about 3/8″ off the bottom of the circle so it wouldn’t show when you added the moustache. I also added did the same thing to his nose so he has a nice rosy glow. And since I needed an image or embellishment in the lower left corner I added the reindeer cause Santa has to have his reindeer. Everything else is pretty straight forward. I know the girls will enjoy making him this week. Here is the sketch and my creation.
