Hello Everyone ~ I love the colors I used on my 10 Minute Beautiful Friendship in Purple Posy creation today.
I managed to get my cards for my class later this month designed as well as 2 other cards I can use when I need them. Today I will be working on my videos for this week. I have to tell you a story that scared me last night. I was sitting in my great room working on today’s video and eating my dinner. All of a sudden I heard this noise. Bijou was barking like crazy and was looking around to see if a tree had fallen down. The next second the noise was there again and it was definitely in the attic. It sounded like my duct work was falling down. Needless to say I will be calling the HVAC company on Monday to come check it out. It may have just been the duct work reacting to warm air going through it but I have never heard it before. I am hoping that is what it is and not what it sounded like. We will see.
I have a 10 Minute Creation for you today. This is a quick and easy card and the colors were based on the designer series paper colors. I love it when I can find a stamp set to go with the designer series paper that was not associated with it. I thought the flower in Beautiful Friendship matched the flowers in the Best Dressed dsp that I used. The Beautiful Friendship stamp set is one of my favorite to stamp with. Here are some other ideas for this stamp set. Here is an idea that uses the stamp set with a faux watercolor technique. This card uses the hydrangea stamp for another quick card. This card uses an image to create a stamped border.
