Hello Everyone ~ Well I got that background stamp again and I created the Stampin’ Up Brushstrokes For You card.
I have Remi today. She has a double ear infection and Jess wanted her to stay home one more day so that she can get her medicine. She is fine as long as she keeps her medicine in her. We will spend the day snuggling and having fun. I will try to do some organizing if I can. If not I will do a little this evening. I will also try making some videos for the next few series I have coming up.
Today is my One Color Wonder series. This week I had Soft Suede and Brushstrokes. This was an interesting combination as the Brushstrokes is a background stamp so I only had the 1 stamp. Soft Suede is a brown so I knew it would probably end up being a masculine card. I wanted to add some interest since the stamp was just stripes. I thought it would be fun if I could figure out how to do diagonal stripes. Here is the video showing how I made the diagonal stripes and the rest of the card.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. I will be going to the yarn store tomorrow as I need a break from the stress.
