Hand Stamped Box of Flowers

Hello Stampers ~ since Spring doesn’t want to make an appearance how about creation your own with a Hand Stamped Box of Flowers.

Well today is my last day in North Carolina.  I head back tomorrow.  I am sure our last day will be spent getting all the last minute things we didn’t get done in.  We may even spend some time being creative.  I love the fact that we have no set schedule and just do what we want when we want.  I needed that after the last 2 months of getting the house ready to put on the market.  I have had several showings but nothing has come of them.  I know it is early in the process so I am not worried.  If I had not had any showings I would  be nervous.  The market is just starting to come alive as the bad weather has put things on hold.  Time will tell.

We have an inspiration challenge this time at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

There were several items in this flyer that caught my attention.  The strawberries were adorable.  The bike was fun.  And I loved the pink tree blooms but not thrilled with the bird.  Ultimately the one picture that I wanted to give a try was the Love box of flowers.  I began by using a Smoky Slate watercolor wash for the lower part of the card.  My thoughts were this was the table the box was sitting on.  Using the Wood Textures dsp I cut a piece to be my box.  I then used the Pretty Pines thinlits to cut out my greenery from Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz.  For my flowers I used the Eclectic Layers  and Blushing Bride and Rose Red to make my flowers.  I added a piece of Tear & Tape to the top of the wood paper and started adding my greenery.  I then added another strip of Tear & Tape and finished adding the rest of my greenery and flowers.  When my box was finished, I added some more Tear & Tape and adhered it to my card base.  Here is my version of the Hand Stamped Box of Flowers from the flyer.

Make sure you check out the interpretation of the flyer by the other ladies at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I am sure we all were inspired by something different in the pictures.
Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you today.  I am thinking I might need more greenery and flowers in my box.  What do you think?  Have a Terrific Tuesday  and did you like my Hand Stamped Box of Flowers creation?

  1. Lovely card Robbie and so nice to see the inside and the envelope. So funny you didn’t like the bird, that’s the bit I honed in on!
