Hello Everyone ~ a pretty Beauty Abounds Butterfly Thinlits creation is my share today.
I was very busy yesterday making cards and videos. My sister is in the hospital and I may need to make another trip back to Maryland. I may make some changes if I have to leave and do not get my videos made but I will have cards for you. It rained all day so it was easy to craft. Today I am headed to the outlets with my friend Barb. I need some more t-shirts and they have their 3/4 sleeve ones on sale. I will have the girls on Monday and will meet Jess on Tuesday half way between here and Maryland. Hopefully I will not have to make the trip all the way.
It is only a few days before my newest online class ~ Exclusively Cards ~ goes live. I shared a Sneak Peek on Monday. I have another Sneak Peek today. I am excited about this new program. It is a great way to get ideas for just cards. Be looking for another video that will explain the program further.
I played with the Beauty Abounds thinlits for my creation today. I began by cutting out the large detailed thinlit with Basic Black card stock. The thinlit that is not as open was cut out using Blueberry Bushel card stock. The 2 thinlits were layered using Multipurpose Liquid Glue. A piece of Watercolor paper was used along with the Coastal Cabana reinker to create a watercolor background. I did a watercolor wash over the entire background. Once it dried I again added another layer of color using Bermuda Bay reinker to the background to add more intense color. Once the panel was dry I added it to a Blueberry Bushel card base using Tear & Tape. The butterfly thinlits were then added to the watercolor paper using liquid glue. Here is the completed Beauty Abounds Butterfly Thinlits creation.
