Cute Child’s Christmas Card

Hello Stampers ~ we don’t want to forget the kids so here is a Cute Child’s Christmas Card idea.

No play time yesterday as I had a conference call, an appointment, a quick meeting with the builder, and to finalize the flooring of the house.  Then I had to come home and make a few calls and clean my bathroom.  Today I have a dentist appointment and a meeting with the fireplace people.  After that I am hoping for a quick visit to the house to check on things and then I will be coming home and will have the afternoon to play.  I am so looking forward to some play time!  What plans do you have for today?  I hope it includes some play time.

Have you checked out the Sale-a-bration brochure?  I can tell you there are some very popular items in the Occasions catalog and the Sale-a-bration brochure.  The butterfly duet punch is on backorder until March 18th.  The Gingham Gala designer series paper is on backorder until February 18th.  The organdy ribbon combo pack from the Sale-a-bration brochure is not orderable until February 11th.  I know that this ribbon once it comes in will be while supplies last also.  If there is anything you want  you need to order it as soon as possible as things are selling out fast!

I have another card from the Annual Catalog.  This one is a great Christmas card.  I began with a card base Crumb Cake.  I then took a panel of Tranquil Textures designer series paper ~ you can always check out your designer series paper to see if you have something you can use besides Christmas paper.  A piece of 1/8″ Lovely Lipstick grosgrain ribbon was wrapped around the top and secured on the back with Tear & Tape.  This panel was added to the Crumb Cake card base.  A scrap of Whisper White was embossed using the Woodland embossing folder.  The Stitched Shapes largest circle was used to cut out the circle.  The embossed circle was added using Tear & Tape.  Using the cute deer from Seasonal Chums was stamped using Memento Tuxedo black and colored using alcohol markers.  The coordinating framelits were used to cut out the deer.  This image was added to the card base using dimensionals.  The sentiment from the stamp set was stamped using Lovely Lipstick onto Whisper White and the 1 1/8″ scallop circle punch was used to punch it out.  The 1 3/8″ scallop circle punch was used to punch out a Lovely Lipstick piece.  The 2 scallop circles were layered and added to the card base using dimensionals.  The final element was a bow from the Lovely Lipstick grosgrain ribbon was added using a glue dot.  Here is the completed Cute Child’s Christmas Card.
