Winter Flowers

Hello Stampers ~with all the cold weather and snow everyone is having I thought you might like some Winter Flowers today!

I managed to get my scrapbook class samples completed as well as cut for today’s class yesterday.  Zoie had a birthday party and I kept Remi while Jess took her.  I don’t get much done when I have her.  Zoie is to the point that she can stamp with me but Remi is not there yet.

I was intrigued by a sketch at Freshly Made Sketches and had an idea when I saw it.

The skinny vertical panel reminded me of the Wild About Flowers stamp set. So I pulled that one out and created the vertical panel.  The skinny vertical strip I saw as washi tape.  I decided to use the Playful Palette set for that.  I wanted some interest so I used the Elegant Dots embossing folder to emboss the front of the card.  I then attached the flower panel with dimensionals and the washi tape was added just under the edge.  I did not include a sentiment as I usually don’t add one until I need the card.  Here is my completed version of the sketch.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be playing in my craft room in between my workshops.  What will you be doing?  Have a Sensational Sunday and create your own Winter Flowers to brighten your day.
