Daisy Delight with Designer Series Paper

Happy President’s Day ~ I have another Daisy Delight with Designer Series Paper idea today.

Well I did not get my cards made like I wanted to yesterday.  I ended up working on some cards I needed to send out.  It took me a while to get organized and find all my supplies.  I did manage to get several of them made but I still have quite a few more to work on.  I also need to work on some other cards I need to send out.  I am hoping to finish up the ones I started yesterday and make the other ones today.  I also have to make some phone calls and I am waiting to hear from the landscaper.  I have a lot to do this week before I leave to go to Jess’ on Thursday.  Hopefully I can get everything done.

I have another Daisy Delight idea to share with you today.  I decided to use Blackberry Bliss and stamp it with Whisper White.  I stamped my image and set the ink with the heat gun.  The daisy punch was used to punch out the 3 images.  I used the bone folder and curled the petals of 2 of the flowers up and the other flower the petals are curled down.  Glue dots were used to layer the flowers together.  A piece of the Share What You Love designer series paper was added to a piece of the Blackberry Bliss.  I wrapped a piece of the Silver 3/8″ metallic edged ribbon around the top.  This panel was added to a Crumb Cake card base.  The flower was then added to the card base using dimensionals.  I added some of the Gingham Gala adhesive backed sequins.  To finish the card off I added a clear faceted gem to the middle of the flower.  Here is my completed Daisy Delight with Designer Series Paper.

Did you know punches are quick paper cutting tools? On this card the Daisy punch was used to create this pretty flower.
