Daisy Delight Clean and Simple

Good Morning Everyone ~ I played with the daisy set to create my Daisy Delight Clean and Simple creation today.

Well it rained all day yesterday so I had fun making my videos.  I did not get as much done as I would have liked as I had a lot of planning to do.  I do have all my planning done so I am hoping to be able to make 6 cards today.  I won’t push it so I may not get them all done.  I also have to find some time to read some of my book for book club tomorrow night.  I haven’t even started it so it will be interesting to see how much I get read.

Yesterday was Remi’s birthday so I did a Face Time with her to sing her Happy Birthday.  When I finished she started singing it and said “Happy Birthday to me”!  It was so funny that both Jess and I laughed.  She then proceeded to read me a book and ask me how many of different items were on each page.  I had no idea as she was not showing me the page.  It was a riot.  I asked her about her gymnastics class and if she could do a forward roll, back flip, etc.  Naturally she said she could do them all.  I asked her the teacher’s name and she had no idea.  She is such a trip.

My creation today used the Daisy Delight stamp set and punch.  If you like this bundle as much as I do, make sure you check out my Exclusively Cards offer here.  I did a bonus set of cards this month using this bundle in case you did not get the Butterfly Gala bundle.  This is a great value this with all the support if you did not get the original bundle.

Well I don’t know what happened with my video but it did not record.  I have the introduction but nothing else.  I am wondering if my phone camera was full and it did not record.  I spent a lot of time yesterday deleting photos and videos I did not need.  Hopefully that should take care of the problem.  I need to get my external hard drive out and transfer all the videos I have of the house as well as the pictures to that which would also. help.  I will do my best to describe what I did.

I began by stamping the daisy using Pool Party onto Pool Party card stock.  The punch was used to punch all 3 out.  The center of the flower was stamped using Mango Medley ink onto Mangy Medley card stock.  The 1/2″ circle punch was used to punch it out.  I used a dauber to sponge around the edge using Cajun Craze.  I took 2 of the daisies and using the bone folder curved the petals up.  The third daisy had the petals curved down.  I layered the 3 daisies using glue dots offsetting the petals each time putting the one with the petals curved down on the bottom.  I then stamped the small daisy using Pool Party ink onto Pool Party card stock.  This daisy was then fussy cut out.  I used a 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ strip of Mango Medley card stock and the Subtle embossing folder to emboss it.  I added a Whisper White panel to a Pool Party card base.  The Mango Medley embossed strip was added to the lower third of the panel.  The fussy cut daisy was added to the end of the Mango Medley strip using a dimensional.  The punched daisy was then added to the card base above the Mango Medley strip.  To finish off the card a multi loop linen thread bow was added using a glue dot.  Here is the completed Daisy Delight Clean and Simple creation.
