Hello Stampers ~ an interesting challenge resulted in this Seaside Flurry
I was very busy yesterday. My planner is almost finished. I have all the stenciling done, I have covered the spine, cut some of the dies I am using, and have attached a couple of the dies. I am hoping to work on it some more today to see if I can get it almost finished. I also made several cards yesterday for the next few days. I do need to clean the bathrooms today so that will interfere with some of my crafting time.
Our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop has a fun challenge to help you think outside the box.
For this challenge I decided to see what embossing folders I had that could be used. The Seaside one looked like wind blowing to me so I went with it. I inked up the raised waves using a Dapper Denim ink pad. When I ran it through the Big Shot, the lines were indented and colored. The glitter tape would be a perfect accent for my card so I pulled out the tape and ran a strip down the left hand side. I used some Shimmer Paper and stamped the snowflakes from Flurry of Wishes with Dapper Denim. Using the coordinating punches they were punched out. The snowflakes were added to the card with dimensionals. To finish off the snowflakes a rhinestone was added to the center. Here is my interpretation of the challenge.

Thanks for visiting me today. It is going to warm up over the next few days so all our snow will melt. Have a Wonderful Wednesday and what would you do with a Seaside Flurry challenge?

Yes, it does look windy. In keeping with the weather in our area now, which is blowing and howling. Love your card.
