Good Morning Stampers ~ I decided to do another Masked Thanks card today.
Well I got my swaps finished so I can mail them out today. I also worked on my card for tomorrow. I had an idea so I wanted to see if I could do it. I have the background started but need to finish the card today. I also got my paper cut for my class this week. Jess and I also went to the Verizon store to get our plan straight. While there I went ahead and bought the new iPhone 7. I was tired of my iPhone cutting out on me in my videos. I should be good for a while now.
Today we have a new challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge blog. We have a color challenge for the next 2 weeks.
I had used this card idea once before and like how it turned out. I decided to try it again but use different colors and a different stamp set. I masked off an area in the upper part of the card layer. I then used the flowers from Blooms & Wishes stamp set and the colors for this challenge to create a spray of flowers and leaves across my layer. You don’t realize how close Flirty Flamingo and Watermelon Wonder are until you start stamping them next to each other. To get the 2 colors of green, I inked up the stamp on the on one with leaves and off stamped them before stamping them on my card front. The leaves with the berries are not stamped off. Here is my final creation.
