Thinking of You Card Idea

Good Morning Everyone ~ today I have a Thinking of You Card Idea.

I hope you are having a good week. It is day 2 in the park for us.  By now we have figured out what routine works for the girls.  I know one day we will be going to Animal Kingdom.  This will be a new park for me as the last time I was at Disney for any length of time it was not open.  I am excited for this park to see what they have there.  I am hoping we can do the safari ride to see some of the animals.

The inspiration for my card today was the Share What You Love designer series paper.  I used the colors in the paper for my card.  A strip of Mint Macaron was used along with the Eastern Medallion thinlits to cut out the large flower.  This thinlit only cuts the petals and leaves a large uncut center.  This was the perfect spot for my sentiment from Eastern Beauty which was stamped using Shaded Spruce ink.  Two strips of the designer series paper was added to each side of the Mint Macaron strip making sure they did not overlap the cut out parts of the petals.  Some of the 1/8″ Sheer Whisper White ribbon was tied around the bottom of the panel 3 times.  This panel was then added to the Shaded Spruce card base.  I also added 3 knots to each of the ribbon strips.  To finish off the card I added some rhinestones.  Here is my completed Thinking of You Card Idea.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  This stamp set and thinlits are retiring so I wanted to share an idea of how to use them before they are gone.  I will miss the sentiments in this set.  Have a Marvelous Monday and this layout is a great one for a Thinking Of You Card Idea.
