Hello Stampers ~ are you ready for a One Sheet Wonder Video Tutorial today?
Yesterday I took advantage of Memorial Day sales and picked up the bedding I need for the girls room. They will be here in about 3 weeks to spend some time with me while Jess and a girlfriend take a trip. After a week with me Jess will come down and spend a few more days so they can go to the beach. I have planned lots of activities for the time I have them so that I can keep them occupied. I will be exhausted at the end of the time but I am sure we will have a lot of fun!
I thought it would be fun to do a 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder and use the Pop of Petals. This set is a bundle right now and is carrying over into the 2019 Annual Catalog but it will not be a bundle. Now is the time to get it! I also have an online class that uses this bundle that will go live on Saturday, June 1st. I gave you a sneak peek of one of the cards yesterday when I shared another idea. Here is the sneak peek for another card.
So that you can see how I cut the paper for the Pop of Petals cards I will be sharing through out this week I did a video tutorial on how to cut the designer series paper. Here is the video.
So I took the 2″ x 5 1/2″ piece of designer series paper and used the back side for this card. I attached the strip along the bottom of my card base that has the fold at the top. I then covered the join with a 1/2″ piece of Blushing Bride. I stamped the feathery flowers from the set using Blushing Bride and 3 of the leaves using Granny Apple Green. The punch was used to cut out the flowers and I fussy cut the leaves. Glue Dots were used to attach the leaves to the flowers. One flower was added to the upper left hand corner of the card base using glue dots. The other flower was added using dimensionals. This card is now complete. I kept the card fairly simple so that beginning stampers could easily create this card. If you want to step it up, you can emboss the strip of Blushing Bride and you can add some rhinestones or sequins. A sentiment can be added on the right hand side of the card if you would like. Here is the completed creation for the One Sheet Wonder Video Tutorial.
