Happy Monday Stampers ~ up today is an adorable Stampin’ Up Dandelion Wishes Handmade Card.
I was pretty successful yesterday. I got my videos made, finished my cards for my card class, did a lot of laundry, and managed to plan out where to store some of my towels. Doug came over and has started working on attaching my cabinet to the wall. I have a tall cabinet and it needs to be attached to the wall so it does not tip over. Today I have water aerobics this morning and then the HVAC guy is coming. I also have to get to the store as I need potting soil to plant my daisies outside. I will do that this afternoon also. Then I will be in my craft room as I have to get started with putting things away. I am hoping to get at least 2 boxes/bins emptied but a lot will depend on the time I can get to the store.
I pulled out my Dandelion Wishes stamp set and decided to play with it. I used the stamp that had the single bloom with the seeds blowing away from the bloom. I inked it up with Daffodil Delight and stamped it. I cut it down so there were only a few of the seeds blowing away. I mounted this onto a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock. A piece of Gingham Gala designer series paper was cut a little larger than the image panel. It was also mounted onto a piece of Daffodil Delight card stock. To create my background panel, I took a strip of Basic Black and using the Banner Triple punch I flagged both ends. The stamp with the seeds on it were used to stamp in the upper left hand corner and the lower right hand corner in Memento Tuxedo Black. This panel was added to a Daffodil Delight card base. I then layered the other panels I created using dimensionals. To add a little more interest, I added some of the Lemon Lime Gingham Gala sequins. Here is the completed Stampin’ Up Dandelion Wishes Handmade Card.
