Come Sail Away Bundle

Hello Everyone ~ I have another Come Sail Away Bundle idea for you today.

Well the HVAC guys were here so long I did not get to run my errands until late.  That meant I did not get into my craft room.  Doug did get my cabinet attached to the wall so I will wipe it down and begin unloading my yarn.  I made it to the store and planted my daisies outside now to cross my fingers and hope they take as I usually don’t have good luck with things I plant.  I can keep things alive if someone else plants them but if I plant them they usually don’t make it.  Cross your fingers for me that they make it!  The HVAC guys gave me a new compressor.  I am hoping that takes care of the problem.  The humidity level in the house is way too high.  It does seem a little better in here so I am hoping in a few days it evens out.

I played with the Come Sail Away Bundle again.  I had used this bundle for my Facebook Live a couple of weeks ago where I used a 6 x 6 One Sheet Wonder and created 4 cards that were cute.  If you would like to see them search for Creations in Paper and join our group.  For today’s idea I wanted to color my lighthouse like the ones you would find in North Carolina.  When I did my research the lighthouses in my area are gray/white with a black base.  So I inked up the stamp with Smoky Slate and then used the Basic Black marker to color the base.  I used the Gray Granite marker to color the rocks at the bottom.  After I stamped it, I used the coordinating framelit to cut it out.  A Night of Navy card base was used with a layer of Sahara Sand.  A strip of the Come Sail Away designer series paper was added to a Night of Navy panel and then added to the right hand side of the card base.  The lighthouse was added to the left hand side using dimensionals.  To finish off the card, some of the Sail Away Trinkits were added to the designer series paper.  Here is the completed Come Sail Away Bundle creation.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I have a hair appointment this morning and then I am going to make my Facebook Live project.  I will be working in my craft room and cleaning my cabinet so I can put away my yarn.  It will be a busy day again today.  Have a Terrific Tuesday and I am loving the Come Sail Away Bundle!
