Feels Like Frost A Little Note

Hello Everyone ~ Are you ready for another Feels Like Frost A Little Note creation today?

Happy Labor Day !

I had a great play day yesterday.  I worked on a few cards.  I got another workshop card completed, my In Color club cards completed and the items packaged, and a few other cards I needed.  I was glad to get the In Color items ready and another workshop card completed.  I have 2 more cards to do and then I will be ready for next week.  Today I need to work on my cards for the blog and make my videos.

I am enjoying playing with the Feels Like Frost designer series paper.  This is such a pretty paper and you don’t need to use it for Christmas or Winter.  Today I have a card that uses this paper in an All Occasion way.  I found a great sketch that I could use to highlight the designer series paper at Create with Connie and Mary.

I began with the pattern that has the look of Queen Anne’s Lace.  I needed to find a stamp set that had a similar image.  I decided to #ShopYourCraftStash and found the perfect stamp set.  The beauty of this paper is the metallic side can be used with any color so I chose to use Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo.  The Falling Flowers stamp set has an image that reminded me of the image in the paper.  I used a Granny Apple Green and Melon Mambo marker to ink up the image.  I used a second generation stamping on a scrap of paper.  I then used Melon Mambo ink to stamp the sentiment.  I cut this down to fit the image and mounted it onto a piece of Granny Apple Green card stock that was a little bigger then the sentiment panel.  I took my designer series paper panel and mounted it onto a Melon Mambo layer.  I took a piece of Basic Black card stock and the Corrugated embossing folder and embossed the paper.  I mounted this onto a Whisper White card base using Tear & Tape.  The designer series paper panel was then added with Tear & Tape.  The sentiment layer was added using dimensionals.  To complete the creation I added some Silver metallic pearls as they reminded me of the balls at the end of the sprays in the designer series paper.  Here is my completed Feels Like Frost A Little Note card.
