Hello Everyone ~Time for another #ShopYourCraftStash Sponging idea.
I worked some more on organizing my cards for the craft fair. I want to get them done so most of them are ready to be separated into categories. I took a break after a few hours and worked on another item I want to sell. I figure if I jump back and forth from the projects to the cards I will get a lot done and not get bored. If I have a number of holders made then all I have to do is put them together and fill them.
Saturday is the day I search through my retired items for a #ShopYourCraftStash idea. Today’s card used the Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating dies. I even pulled out the Leaf charms. I began by sponging some ink on the background of a Whisper White panel using Granny Apple Green ink. To make sure I had enough ink, I used the Nested Labels dies and cut out one of the shapes. The shape was then embossed using the Basket Weave embossing folder. To make sure I had sponged the background enough I set the shape on the card panel to see about placement. When I had enough ink on the panel I used Tear & Tape to adhere the shape in place. The Whisper White panel was then added to a Whisper White card base. On a scrap piece of paper, the image from Petal Palette was stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The image was colored using Flirty Flamingo and Granny Apple Green ink and glycerin. The coordinating dies were used t cut out the image. I added the image using dimensionals. I had some retired Flirty Flamingo ruched ribbon that I tied a bow and attached it using glue dots. To finish off the card, some Whisper White 1/8″ ribbon was tied through the hole of the leaf charm in a bow. The charm was then added to the upper left hand corner using a glue dot. Here is the completed #ShopYourCraftStash Sponging creation.
