Hello Everyone ~ I used a challenging designer series paper for my Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Tree creation today.
Well I managed to get some of my craft items organized. I also cleaned up my studio and vacuumed the house. Now all I need to do is clean the bathrooms. I will work on those tomorrow. Today I have my workshops and I need to make my videos for this week. I have seen some of the new product in the upcoming Occasions catalog. There is some gorgeous paper in it. I can’t wait to get the catalog so I can see more of the paper better. I should get my catalog soon as they were going to mail them out to demonstrators in the middle of November. I am also looking at the Holiday catalog as it will retire at the end of December. I want to make sure if there is anything in there I want that I order it now before it is gone. What do you think I need to order?
We have our Hand Stamped Sentiments Paper Crafting Challenges today. This challenge is an inspiration challenge. We have this great picture to inspire us.
When I looked at this I immediately saw the tree in the lower right hand corner. I decided to see what I could do with this. The photo had a background and I knew the Wrapped in Plaid designer series paper had a pattern with a tree on it. This paper presented a challenge for me as I could not figure out what to do with it. I decided to use the paper and create a strip for the left hand side of the card base. I wanted to spruce it up a bit so I cut two 1/4″ strips from Gold foil paper and using Tear & Tape I added one to the card base then added the strip of designer series paper then the last strip of Gold foil paper. Now to work on the tree on the right hand side of the photo. I thought the Winter Woods stamp set had a great evergreen tree so I stamped it using Shaded Spruce ink making sure to have the right hand side of the image going off the page like the photo. I mounted it onto a piece of Shaded Spruce card stock and then adding that panel to a piece of Whisper White. This panel was added to the lower right hand corner of the card front using dimensionals. A retired star punch was used to punch a star from Gold glimmer paper and then added to the top of the tree using a glue dot. To continue with the inspiration photo, I added some Real Red rhinestones to the tree. Here is the completed Hand Stamped Sentiments Inspiration Tree creation.

Have you seen some of my other Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge cards? Here is a fun one that used the daisy stamp and punch. Want a simple idea, then look at this one. Here is pretty feminine idea for one of our challenges.
